Wooden Market Umbrellas from American Holtzkraft
We offer market umbrellas made from two frame materials – wood or aluminum. The wooden market umbrellas are typically built out of Northern Ash, the hardest of the hardwoods that grow in the US. However, customers can choose other timbers, including Western Cedar and Plantation-Grown Teak.
To make the hardwood poles even stronger, we slow-dry the wood in a kiln and seal them multiple times with a marine-grade sealant, followed by a finish in the shade of your choice. Each wooden pole also has an aluminum pole guard, and the rest of the components are laminated several times for extra protection against warping.
We produce the most wind-resilient market umbrella that you can buy. This model has a canopy that fully rotates around the axis and features dual vents. These elements allow wind to flow through the piece rather than against it.

The aluminum outdoor umbrellas built by American Holtzkraft provide excellent strength and portability. The hub has been redesigned and is made of machined solid aluminum, and every rib attaches to the hub by way of stainless steel pins and large screws. This design makes repair easy, even when the unit is in use and on-site.
The aluminum model comes with several features as standard, including a brushed aluminum finish (powder coat finish available), a marine-grade tempered pole, a rotating canopy, stainless steel hardware, double-stitched reinforced pockets to attach the canopy to the ribs, and a solid aluminum finial at the top.
