High-End Materials for Superior Functionality

The market umbrellas we manufacture are available in a plethora of sizes, including large umbrellas designed for seaside placement. Each piece we make consists of the finest materials.

The textiles chosen are marine-grade. They resist water damage, UV penetration, sun-fading, and staining. The strength of the textiles allows our umbrellas to remain intact and beautiful season after season with minimal maintenance required.

The components that piece together the major parts of the umbrella shouldn’t go unconsidered. We use stainless steel and solid brass hardware, sealing them for resistance to corrosion and damage despite use and coastal environments.

If the pole fails, the umbrella goes with it. We use aluminum or hardwood poles for strength and long life. Whether you prefer Northern Ash, Western Cedar, or Plantation-Grown Teak, the timber you choose will be slow-dried, sealed with multiple layers of marine-grade glue, and finished in the shade you choose. The aluminum poles are available in several standard colors and powdered finish options.

For larger beach umbrellas, we suggest that you opt for venting to mitigate winds, choose an appropriate base system for the environment, and choose an opening mechanism that suits your particular needs.

American Holtzkraft creates center-post umbrellas only. Cantilever umbrellas don’t meet our standards of safety, so we avoid passing the danger on to our customers.
